Meet Millie

The heart behind our MOOvement

In March of 2025, our family was blessed with a beautiful baby girl named Millie, lovingly known as Millie Moo. Born into a family deeply involved in agriculture, with a row crop and cow-calf operation in northwestern Illinois. Millie was surrounded by the values of hard work, resilience, and community from the very beginning. Her smile lit up every room, and her joyful spirit brought happiness to everyone around her.

On September 4, 2025, Millie was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive pediatric cancer called Malignant Rhabdoid Tumor (MRT). She immediately began her first round of chemotherapy, but despite every effort and her incredible strength, Millie passed away on September 22, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her most. Her time with us was heartbreakingly short, but she showed us that even the smallest lives can leave the biggest legacies.

Out of that love and the desire to keep her memory alive, The Millie Moo Foundation was created. Our mission is simple but meaningful: to support families facing pediatric cancer and to invest in the future of agriculture through scholarships for local students. These causes reflect both Millie’s story and the farming roots she was born into.

Through #MilliesMOOvement, we hope to carry Millie’s light forward with helping families when they need it most and giving young people the chance to grow and thrive, just as Millie would have. Her time with us was brief, but her legacy will continue to make an impact for generations to come.
