QC Storm hosts Hockey Fights Cancer Game
Hockey Fights Cancer game was last Friday, February 13, and Gabby, Millie’s Mom, honored her by painting her name on the ice. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to keep her memory alive and to honor her at the game. Gathering in that shared space—surrounded by friends, family, teammates, and supporters—turns a sporting event into a meaningful tribute. Every cheer, every moment of silence, and every small gesture becomes a way to remember who she was: her spirit, her laughter, and the quiet courage she carried each day.
Honoring her in this public, joyful way transforms a moment of sadness into one of purpose. It helps sustain the legacy she left behind and inspires continued acts of kindness in her name. For those who loved her, and for those who now hear her story for the first time, the tribute at the game is a promise: we will remember, we will celebrate, and we will carry forward the light she brought into our lives.
