Eli’s Story
When 11-year-old Eli was rushed to the ER in January after experiencing difficulty breathing, his family received news that would change their lives forever. Doctors discovered a mass occupying 85% of his chest cavity, and what followed was a whirlwind of critical care, a week in the PICU, and the start of chemotherapy.
As parents, Dominique and her husband suddenly found themselves balancing hospital stays, appointments, and Eli’s care while also supporting their three other children through an unimaginable season. Every day became focused on helping Eli fight cancer and keeping their family moving forward.
The Millie Moo Foundation was honored to provide assistance to help ease some of the financial burden, allowing the family to focus on what mattered most—Eli’s health and their family’s well-being.
