Taylyn’s Story

Taylyn was born in March 2022, and from very early on, her family has walked a path no parent ever expects. At just five months old, Taylyn underwent open-heart surgery for a heart defect. By God’s grace, she is doing well heart-wise and continues regular checkups to monitor her progress.

Just when her family began finding their footing, their world was shaken again. In July 2024, Taylyn was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She has now been in treatment for a year and a half and recently entered the maintenance phase — a step forward, but one that still includes daily medication, ongoing hospital visits, and another full year of treatment ahead. The side effects have been difficult, and the journey has been emotionally and physically exhausting for the entire family.

To care for Taylyn, her mom stepped away from work for several months, spending countless days in and out of the hospital. As she now works to return to her job, the family is still rebuilding financially and finding stability after such a long and intense season of medical crisis.

Through the generosity of our donors, The Millie Moo Foundation was able to provide Taylyn’s family with a gift card to use toward everyday family needs — groceries, gas, essentials, or whatever would best support them during this challenging time. Small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference when families are stretched thin.

Families like Taylyn’s are exactly why The Millie Moo Foundation exists — to walk alongside families, ease burdens where we can, and remind them they are not alone. None of this would be possible without our incredible donor community who continues to show up, share, and give from the heart.

Please join us in lifting Taylyn and her family up in prayer as they continue this journey.
