Leo’s Journey

We are honored to support a family walking through the unimaginable alongside their son, Leo.

Leo was diagnosed at just 9 months old after experiencing shaking episodes that led to further testing. His family learned he had a brain tumor on his brain stem. Since then, Leo has endured brain surgery, emergency procedures to treat hydrocephalus, and ongoing chemotherapy treatments. Now 5 years old, he is currently undergoing his third round of cancer treatment.

Through it all, Leo continues to be described as a happy and silly little boy — a reminder of the strength and resilience children carry, even in the hardest circumstances.

Like many families facing pediatric cancer, the financial burden has been overwhelming. With frequent hospital visits, ongoing care, and the need for one parent to remain home full-time, everyday expenses quickly become difficult to manage. Right now, simple needs like gas for appointments and groceries are some of the biggest challenges.
